Tim McNeely Statement on Harrison County Commission Decision

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — Today, after careful consideration, the Harrison County Commission affirmed the results of the Republican primary election, and I am honored to officially be the Republican nominee for West Virginia House of Delegates in the 71st District.

I want to thank the Harrison County Commissioners for their thoughtful consideration of this matter and for the professionalism and integrity they demonstrated throughout the process.

I also want to express my sincere appreciation to Harrison County Clerk John Spires, his staff, our poll workers, and everyone who worked so diligently to conduct a fair, secure, and accurate election. Their commitment to protecting the integrity of our elections deserves our respect and gratitude, and they have my complete confidence. Our community is fortunate to have such dedicated public servants.

Most of all, I want to thank everyone who has supported Sarah and me throughout this campaign. Whether you volunteered your time, made a contribution, offered words of encouragement, kept us in your prayers, or simply stopped to talk with us while we were out meeting voters, we are deeply grateful. We have been blessed by the friendships we've made and humbled by the confidence so many people have placed in us.

Now, it's time to look ahead.

In just 34 days, students across Harrison County will return to the classroom. In 51 days, our community will come together to celebrate the Italian Heritage Festival, one of our state's great traditions. And in 111 days, voters will once again have the opportunity to shape the future of our community and our state.

That future has always been my focus.

Over the coming months, I will continue traveling throughout the district, listening to the concerns and ideas of our neighbors, and working to build stronger communities, better schools, improved infrastructure, expanded economic opportunity, and an even brighter future for Harrison County and all of West Virginia.

Sarah and I hope you'll continue to say hello when you see us around town. We look forward to meeting many more of you this summer and fall as we continue this campaign together.

The primary election is behind us. Now it's time to unite, focus on the future, and earn the support of every voter in the 71st District.

The work continues, and I couldn't be more excited about what lies ahead.
